A Rant About Room Mates

I have decided I have lucked out this semester. It's only been a week since I moved into my new house but it's been bliss. Hopefully this isn't just a big "honeymoon" phase because I never want it to end!! Every one of my room mates make me so happy. I feel like the lazy room mate because every time I go to clean up, someone else has already done it. I'm seriously going to have to sit and wait for someone to eat so I can wash me some dishes. It's not very often at college when you feel like you are HOME, but that's exactly how my house feels... like a family.

Since it is Easter today, I'll have to tell you about the amazing things my roommates did. First of all, they decided to wake up early and cook breakfast. This was no ordinary breakfast though. This was like, Chuck-A-Rama buffet breakfast!! French toast, eggs (made without cheese for me), cheesy eggs, hash browns, fresh fruit of every kind, and two flavors of juice! I woke up to the smell of this amazing breakfast and was so grateful for amazing friends. We went to church and went to ward choir afterwards. After choir we all came home and enjoyed easter cupcakes, courtesy of Kari (said like Car-EE) . Mine had yellow frosting and a little sheep ring on top! So cute! Then we busted out sparkling juice and I pretended to be drunk.. like I always do when I drink that stuff. After laughing our brains out my room mates decided to go to a fireside. I stayed home and slept, cause I was majorly tired. Anyway, Easter is about Jesus Christ and his resurrection. It's a message of hope, peace, and love. This is what I feel from my room mates. These are some truly Christlike people. They make me better an I'm so lucky to have them. To top that, I think about all the people in my life and I have so many amazing examples and friends. I am very blessed! Maybe even God's favorite. :)
