Anyhow, my parents are still sleeping and Teresa and her family slipped out of the house at about 7:00am to go do someones photos. I'm trying to take advantage of the rare quiet moments in the Stander House. OH! Cutest story ever.. or at least for today. I slept in the living room on the most comfortable recliner ever. I woke up to my sister trying to sneak her husband, seven year old son, and four year old little girl out of the house without waking anyone up. Anyone with kids or with nieces or nephews should know this is an almost impossible feat. As I woke I sat up, rubbed my eyes, and saw my 4 year old niece, Nikkya, with her hair all done and in a cute little summer dress with her "heels" on. I sleepily mumbled, "Kya, you look so pretty today." She dashed across the room and gave me a heart melting hug, then she looked up at me (with really big brown eyes) and said, "Thanks Lisa, you're pretty too." I was taken by surprise since I felt a bit like Medusa and I'm pretty sure that the remaining make up I couldn't get off last night was smeared across my face. I just smiled and said thank you. I haven't even dared to approach a mirror. I'll just bask in my early morning beauty.
Oh, update on Justin. He's serving in Rancho Pensiquitos. I guess that's right next to San Diego! I always wanted to go to the zoo there. I hope he goes!
